Buried alive in Japan from the massive Earthquake
Bump! Bump! Bump! Bump!
Is the sound of my heart roaring for oxygen? I’m trapped in a dark claustrophobic space surround by trash rubble and house waste. A take a deep breath of air and realize that I am buried alive in Japan!!!!!!
Day 1: I open my eyes all I can see is glimpses
of light shine through the trash now and then but really it’s totally darkness in this cramped space. How do I escape? I pull bits of pieces of garbage carefully at a time hoping nothing heavy will collapse on me so as I pull trash. Then I see trash starting to tumble on my face, and realize this was a bad idea, how do I get out? I need to find a way soon or else I will die!
Day 2: My stomach is growling because I’m so
hungry so I search for food with the garbage that surrounds me then I spot half of an apple that looks a couple days old, I really don’t want to eat the apple but I have no choose but to eat it, so I take a large bit through the dry apple, tiny drops of juice comes out of the apple but not a lot as a usual apple would have. Trapped for 2 days now and no signs of humans walk over me
will I ever find a way out? I have to get out I tear through rubble like I’m a drill moving trash that gets in my way. Ouchhhhhh! I scraped my leg against a piece of wood I’m losing a lot of blood from my leg so I rap the jacket I had on my leg so it can heal, it hurts so bad but I have to keep moving I move at a slower pace so I don’t hit my leg on anything I take a rest were I’m at I have
made a work and progress from where I started I’m at least a mile from where I started it took me 5 hours just to get me this far but I cant stop so I wait for day 3 to move on.
Day 3: I see the shine from the sun in my face I
rise up and take a look at my leg I pull off my navy blue jacket from my leg and take a peek I see dried blood on my knee and a scab the size of a tennis ball on my shin, But this is not stopping me, so I keep going for another hour I take a rest and realize I’m close to the surface I can hear the ocean crashing against the rocks and the hard sand I hear the birds chirping a melody I’m close to being free. I’m shaking in excitement, putting a smile on my face for the first time in three days.
Day 4: I’m at least half
a mile below the surface I’m nearly close to escape. I pull through the last bits of trash. Finally I made it out alive, I put a a joyful smile on my face and look around Tokyo I see German shepherds racing my way, waving police and rescue
officers standing less than 20 feet away. I run towards the rescue team with the dogs sniffing my legs showing the cut I got to their owners so they took me to the local hospital in Tokyo to heal my leg.
Day 5:I wake up with thebeeping sound of the hospital TV. I’m healed with smiling faces around me I start crying because I don’t know where my mother, dad and sister are? Where could
they be? My heart is racing, panicking for answers. I rest my head and fall asleep in misery.
